Finished mixing my album, with engineer Talley Sherwood some weeks ago. Mastering soon, and hoping to release in a few months. It features Jeff Babko on keys, Eric Sittner on bass, and Ray Brinker on drums. Stay tuned!
I got to fill in for the guitarist on a gig with Billy Vera and the Beaters last Saturday night. It was great fun. The songs are great, and Billy is singing great. Was a fun hang!

The joint album project with SG7 and Jazz vocal great Tierney Sutton has been released, and we had the album release party in early April. It was lot's of fun.
I hope to finish up my record soon! It's been a long time coming, with lot's of delays, but it will be out this year!
Had a fun live show with Carpenters Legacy, a tribute to the Carpenters, and will have more shows with them this year. I'll also be performing with an Olivia Newton John/ Grease tribute act in June.

Wow, It's been a while since the last update. Let's see, what has happened?
I have been working on my own original music record. It's an instrumental guitar record, and will feature Ray Brinker on drums, Eric Sittner on bass, and Jeff Babko on keyboards. It's been a slow process, but it's sounding great! I expect a release maybe around October.
Last fall I accepted a part time position teaching at Occidental College. It's been a lot of fun. I enjoy working with the students, and seeing them improve.
I've done a few records with San Gabriel 7 along with various featured performers.

We'll do a record release show in September at Catalina Jazz Club for this latest release.
In August SG7 will be partnering with Tierney Sutton for another recording project.
Apart from that I've been producing some TV library music with drummer and friend Craig Pilo, doing some recording at home for various clients, and doing various gigs around town. This Friday, August 4, I'll be playing trio at Papille Gustative in Santa Monica, 6-9.

Sherrie Payne - I recorded some guitar on a song for the great Sherrie Payne of The Supremes. She really sings beautifully, and I'm proud to have participated.
The Doo Wop Project - I did some fun shows for a weekend with these guys, who are all broadway actors and singers from New York. I'll also be performing with them December 21st at the Magnolia near San Diego, and at the famed Disney Hall in downtown Los Angeles on December 22nd.
Sinne Eeg - In January I'll be recording with the wonderful Jazz singer Sinne Eeg, from Denmark.

Had a great record release show for the San Gabriel 7 featuring Andrea Miller recording Time To Stay last Sunday August 15, at Campus Jax. Loads of fun. The record release show was delayed for various reasons, so it's happened just as we are releasing the new record San Gabriel 7 with Katie Campbell and Friends, Sneakin' Up On Love.

San Gabriel 7 just finished recording ANOTHER record, even after just releasing one in January. This one features vocalist Katie Campbell, and some of her friends. Should be out later this year. It will be titled Sneakin' Up On Love.

San Gabriel Seven featuring Andrea Miller released the album Time To Stay in January. It's a great R&B, pop, jazz record and features a lot of guitar by me.
Melissa Tallon released her single Weight of Time in December. Melissa is a wonderful singer/songwriter/producer living in Australia. I recorded guitar here at my home studio.
